PEKETI, SRIKANTHI. My love for art began, like so many others, with my mother instructing me to draw shapes, and as I grew older, so did my passion.

Even though I never received a formal art education, art has always been an important part of my life...it provides me calm and comfort, nourishes me, and keeps me happy.

I've experimented with pencils, charcoal, soft pastels, acrylics, pigments, and silk stains, but watercolors and oils are my favorites.

I'm most fascinated by people and the play of light. I honestly believe that beauty and inspiration are everywhere around us; we just need to take the time to notice them!
