BIOGRAPHY

ALEKHYA YEDDU has had a keen interest in painting and drawing since childhood. Her interest began to grow more as she is surrounded by a family with an art background. Starting as a hobby she participated in
various competitions in school and college which gradually lead to a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Architecture gave her wide exposure and knowledge of art and architecture. During her college days working through various art mediums, she developed a special interest in charcoal and pen sketches. She recently started murals and wall art also.
The charcoal sketches which she draws are mainly painted as a celebration of the hopeful aspects of human life in a lively spirit that gives happiness, and fortune energy to the people who see it. Some sketches have mysterious meanings and every piece has a fragment of herself in it with a dark and bright balance of contrast in the painting.
The images she sketches are inspired by the aspects of human life in the form of quotations and daily life. The pen sketch she sketches are simply so that they can be understood and enjoyed by everyone.
